Professional Indio Insulation Services, insulationindio.com, info@insulationindio.com
Accepting these terms
These terms cover your use of the Professional Indio Insulation Services website and any work you hire us to do. By using the site, asking for an estimate or scheduling a job, you agree to them, so please read them before you book.
Professional Indio Insulation Services is an insulation contractor based in Indio, CA. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean the business and our crew, and "you" means the homeowner, property owner or person using the site. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use the site or book work with us.
What we do
We install, top up and remove insulation in homes and commercial buildings in Indio and the cities around it. That includes attic, wall and crawl space insulation, blown-in and spray foam insulation, air sealing and vapor barriers. You'll find the full list on our home page and more about who we are on our About page.
The descriptions on this site are general. What we do at your property is set by the written estimate or agreement for your job, and that document wins if it differs from anything on the site.
Estimates and pricing
We give free, obligation-free estimates after we've looked at your house in person, because the price depends on things we can only see on site. Those include how much insulation is already up there, its condition, how easy the attic or crawl space is to reach, whether old material has to come out first and which material you choose.
An estimate is our best figure for the work it describes, based on what we could see that day. If we open up the job and find something hidden, like wet or damaged insulation, droppings or a problem in the framing, we'll stop and talk to you before doing extra work. Nothing is added to your bill without your approval.
Estimates stay good for the period written on them. After that, we may need to update the price to reflect current material costs.
Scheduling and cancellation
We set your job date together once you've accepted the estimate. Weather, material delivery and conditions we find on site can move a schedule, and if that happens we'll tell you as soon as we know and offer a new date.
On the day of the job, please make sure we can reach the work area, keep kids and pets away from it and let us know about anything we should watch for. Some materials, spray foam in particular, need everyone out of the house for a while after we finish. We'll tell you before the job how long that is, and you agree to follow our instructions and the material maker's instructions on when it's safe to come back inside.
If you need to cancel or move your job, please call us at (760) 262-0752 as early as you can. If we've already ordered special material or started work, you may be responsible for those costs, and your agreement will say how that's handled.
Payment
Payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance is due, are written in your estimate or agreement. Unless that document says otherwise, the balance is due when the work is finished.
If a payment is late, we may pause further work until the account is current, and you agree to pay reasonable costs of collecting what's owed, as far as California law allows.
Our work and warranties
We're fully licensed and insured, and we stand behind our work. Any specific warranty on our workmanship is written into your agreement, and the materials we install carry the maker's own warranty, which we'll pass along to you.
Outside of what's written in your agreement and the maker's warranty, the work and this website are provided as they are, without other promises to the extent the law allows. Insulation can lower heat gain and drafts, but we can't promise a set drop in your power bill, because that also depends on your cooling system, your windows, the weather and how the house is used.
Limits on our liability
As far as the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't responsible for indirect losses, such as lost use of a room or lost income, or for problems caused by conditions we couldn't see, work done by others, or changes made after we finished.
We're also not liable for how you use the information on this website. It's general guidance, and your estimate is the place for advice about your own house. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under California law that can't be limited by agreement.
If something goes wrong
If you're unhappy with any part of the work, call us first, because most problems get sorted out fastest when we come back and look. You can reach us at (760) 262-0752 or through our contact page, and we'll work with you in good faith to make it right.
If we can't settle it between us, either side can take the matter to the courts in Riverside County, California, unless your written agreement sets out a different process.
Governing law
These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of California.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one that applies. A change won't affect a job you've already signed an agreement for unless we both agree to it.
If you have a question about these terms, please get in touch through our contact page.
