What this policy covers
Professional Indio Insulation Services is an insulation contractor in Indio, CA. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, call us or ask for an estimate, how we use it, how long we keep it and what you can ask us to do with it.
We're a small local business, so we only collect what we need to answer you, look at your house and do the work. You can learn more about who we are on our about page.
Information you give us
When you fill out our contact form, call us or email us, we get the details you choose to share. That usually includes your name, phone number, email address, the address of the property and a description of the job, such as a hot upstairs room, a drafty attic or a crawl space you want looked at.
If you send photos or tell us about your house during an estimate, we keep those notes with your job so our crew knows what to expect.
Our contact form is run by an outside form service. It receives what you type into the form and passes it to us so we can reply.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours collects some basic information when you visit. This can include your browser and device type, the pages you look at, how long you stay, the site that sent you here and a general location based on your internet connection.
We use analytics tools and cookies to gather this. Cookies are small files your browser stores so a site can recognize a return visit and count traffic.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, though some counts we use to improve it won't include your visit.
How we use your information
We use what you give us to reply to you, set up and carry out your estimate, schedule and complete the work, send invoices and follow up after the job.
We use the information collected automatically to see which pages help people and which don't, so we can make the site easier to use.
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the website, the contact form and our business records, and only so they can do that work for us, or when the law requires us to.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact details and job notes as long as we need them to answer you, finish your job and keep the business, tax and warranty records the law expects us to keep. After that, we delete them or keep them in a form that no longer identifies you.
If you reach out and we never do any work for you, we don't hold on to your details longer than we need to follow up on your request.
Analytics data is kept by the analytics provider under its own retention settings and is used by us in summary form.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. We'll do that unless we're required to keep a record, and if so we'll tell you why.
You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time, and we will.
If you live in California, state privacy law may give you added rights, such as the right to know what we collect, to have it deleted or corrected and to limit how it's used. We won't treat you differently or charge you more for asking. We'll confirm who you are before we act on a request, so nobody else can see or change your information.
Children's information
Our website is meant for homeowners and property managers, not children. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13, and if we learn we have, we'll delete it.
How we protect your information
We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe and limit who can see it to the people who need it to serve you. No website or system is perfectly secure, so we can't promise that information sent over the internet will never be seen by someone else.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or the way we work changes. The current version is always the one posted on this page.
Questions or privacy concerns
If you have a question about this policy, want to use any of the rights above or think we've mishandled your information, reach out through our contact page or call us at (760) 262-0752.
Tell us what you're asking for and how to reach you. Expect a reply within 1 business day, and we'll work with you until the concern is settled.
